As far as family A is concerned, I don't think you should work for them either because of their dog. A family I used to nanny for 11 years ago had an aggressive dog and it ended up attacking the baby. I always made sure to never have the baby in the same room as the dog without me and NEVER when the baby was on the floor. Well one day the parents were working from home and let the dog in while I was playing on the floor with the baby. The dog came in the room and literally went straight for the baby and bit him on the head. I reached in to pull the dog off the baby fully expecting to be attacked myself. Luckily the dog ran out of the room. I screamed for the parents who had been in their offices drinking. The baby had blood gushing from his head so I quickly went and got gauze to stop the bleeding. Long story short the parents blamed me for the whole thing and then insisted that I lie and say the baby cut his head on the coffee table so their dog wouldn't be put down. Obviously I refused and quit that day without notice. As someone with first hand experience, never taken a job with a dog you are afraid of. I hate to say it, but I think you should keep looking.[/quote]
