I work for an Ivy League couple with the father still in graduate school getting his doctorate. They live and employ me on the mother's salary only. They know enough about the early years of life to have wanted and hired a nanny with a college degree and years of experience as a preschool teacher. I do only child related chores (his laundry and clean up after his meals). MB told me that if she accidentally leaves a coffee cup in the sink that she expects it to be there when she gets home.
