And if she gave her current employers adequate notice, why would they give her a bad recommendation? My rent can go up 10% a year. I wouldn't want to leave my position but I would if my salary could no longer cover my living expenses. [/quote] Not true. My husband and I have never gotten annual raises. Many companies and government jobs are not giving raises and bonuses. [/quote]
