Oh gosh. There are much too many to list here OP. ~ Hourly rate ~ Paid in cash or check/How often ~ What household chores, if any, are expected ~ Is lunch provided or are you expected to bring your own lunch every day? ~ Does child have any food allergies known? ~ Is T.V./screen time allowed? If so, how much per day? ~ Is driving on the job allowed? If so, will you be reimbursed for mileage at the current IRS rate? ~ Does the family have any back-up childcare in the event that you have to call in ill?
If the family has not presented you with most of this information before you have to accept or not, I wouldn't work for them. Not thinking about whether to provide lunch is one thing, but not mentioning the hourly rate or job expectations seems like a family which doesn't know what it wants at all.
