As a PP pointed out the problem here is that OP has already made it a habit of paying for days not worked therefore it is likely nanny is planning on being paid. If OP and nanny had already established that no work = no pay then I would agree with you. On top of that they want to not pay for those days but offer a bonus. I don't understand the logic in that.
