Umm no!! Hopefully this is a babysitting job and don't go back. Are you at their house? Are you still making sure the children are ok? Can you just leave and go out with friends? Can you crack open a beer or two and relax? Can you call some friends and have them come over for a movie night?? You are WORKING. Please stand up for yourself. Just because you are a people pleaser doesn't mean you should be a door mat
You are absurd. It may be work, and get work may be worth $X per hour during the day, but it is totally reasonable to take a pay cut to watch TV while the kids sleep. If the parents ask you to babysit outside of normal work hours is because it's convenient for them, extra money for you, and might be a win-win but if you don't want to do it just say no. As for OP, same thing, if you are so stuck up that you feel you deserve your normal daytime working rate to watch TV while kids sleep then you are more than welcome to tell her no, you need your full rare, and go with your idea to offer to help her find a local sitter for the future. Maybe they will get lucky and find a new many too.
