Wow you nannies can't be please. You look at being a nanny as some non-serious job that you can float into when it suits you and just float out of when you feel like it. You come for the flexibility and demand high wages while also demanding extreme flexibility, benefits, and time off. You use us and leave at the next better opportunity just to use another family.

Look how many posts are on here every week from both MBs and nannies saying "I've only work/had my nanny for 4 week and I need/she wants 2 weeks off to take a vacation. What do I do?"

OP here. I am sorry you are having such a negative experience as a nanny or employer or just from reading this forum. What do those nannies have to do with me? I have taken one unscheduled day off and one day that my MB knew about when I interviewed. You are angry because I hope to see a doctor during my weekend day off? You don't make a lot of sense to me.[/quote]

In what way is op disappointing you? Yes she missed 2 days and that is not ideal but she is trying to avoid missing another.

Op call your insurance or doctors offices that take your insurance and ask.[/quote]
