I don't know that I would do this again. I hate to "ding" a mother with young kids, because I am one, too, but there were just too many moving parts to her life, and once I needed to go back to working in an office, it became stressful for both of us.

I did offer to let her bring either or both of her kids occasionally if school was out or her childcare fell through. She took me up on this exactly once, and was so overwhelmed with the four of them that she never tried again.[/quote]
