My rule of thumb is about 9-12 months after that then yes using 1 or 2 sick days should not cause alarm. I've gone to work as a nanny while having a miscarriage and I've gone in the day after I had emergency surgery. In my 15 years as a nanny I've taken 2 sick days. And I wish I could say I've taken zero but strep throat did me in.[/quote]
