I agree with end part that ultimately if what your MB wants and what you want don't match, MB will likely have final say which means you need to find a new job if it's an issue that's a big deal to you. That said, MB should absolutely be either working this time into the hours you are already working or pay you extra to stay late on an agreed upon day.
