Why does it matter if she quit? Three years of great service is certainly worth more than $100. And some of you wonder why so many nannies are reluctant to do more than the bare minimum. This shit is why. It sounds as though OPs nanny gave her three good years (if not why keep her on that long) and she pulled back on likely extra uncontracted, uncompensated duties after giving notice and agreeing to stay until a replacement is found. The extra uncompensated duties she stopped doing, and OP is missing, probably have a lot to do with her quitting, and really have no actual bearing on her actual job performance. [/quote]

She was compensated for these 3 years at the level she was willing to accept.  PP, do you work for the money that you're paid or for some bonus that you might get at the end? We don't know what was in her contract and whether any job creep happened, I think you're projecting.
