I will start off by saying that I love my job and have a wonderful relationship with my NF. Having said that, they won't stop eating my food. I am a vegan, which means I eat no meat, eggs or dairy. I bring all of my own food, all of which works for my diet. They gave me permission to store food in their refrigerator and pantry. I feel like I'm constantly missing food items. I bring a lot of fruits and veggies. MB is constantly using my produce and allowing guests to drink my soda. I came back from a 10 day vacation today to find that my $7 bottle of vegan salad dressing was taken with them on a beach trip. I had to eat dry lettuce and veggies for lunch. I have to very carefully plan my meals and when I'm missing a key ingredient to my meal, it throws everything off. I can't just scrounge something up for lunch. I will occasionally text MB to ask if she knows where my food went, but she doesn't seem to take the hint. I have no problem being direct and asking her to leave my food alone, I just don't want to sound like a petty jerk. I don't want to put labels on things, as that seems like a jerk move. The things they use are not things MB buys, so she isn't mistaking them for hers. Any advice on how to tactfully ask them to keep their mitts off my food?
