I was also thinking of a card for the baby that they can put in his baby book. Thoughts on this and suggestions on what to write in the card? Should I get the parents a gift card or anything similar?

We are ending on great terms and the parents are sad that they are losing me but have to move for work and I'm unable to move with them, even though they offered me to move with them. We do plan on keeping in touch and I've already been invited to visit. I know a lot of the time the connection slowly fades but I've had families I've had move away and still see them occasionally after 12 years.

Any and all suggestions welcome especially what to write since I'm not great putting my thoughts in writing especially when it comes to being emotional. I tend to ramble (probably obvious in this post) and also fear I'll come across creepy if I word it wrong[/quote]
