Surely you don't take a job at a company you've never heard of without doing some research? It really is the same thing. Any just so you know, any information that you make public and searchable about yourself is fair game for anyone to look up, be it a potential employer or employee, someone you're dating, or anyone else. You seem to have a bit of an inferiority complex. You being an employer does not give you any more rights or importance than your nanny.
