+1 Even though I know this is not helpful to the OP.

So I have one suggestion - hire someone to drive nanny and 2yo to preschool. I see jobs like this on care.com every once in a while. You can list it as a driving job. Usually they are similar to your situation - my nanny doesn't drive and I need someone to drive her and kid to school and then back.[/quote]

This is a great suggestion. I will look into Care.com. Regarding having someone who can't drive, yes, it's an inconvenience. But she brings so much else to the table that I'll work around this. She works with my irregular schedule and occasionally long hours, occasional overnights. Has constant flexibility and I trust her implicitly with DD. Is as honest as the day is long and a genuine, kind soul. I am a single working parent and rely on her heavily to help me raise DD. She's worth the hassle of this issue.[/quote]
