MB should pay for the hours she reserved...especially since it was cancelled so last minute. If you make a reservation with a hotel and don't cancel within 24 hours (usually), you forfeit a portion of your deposit. The hotel lost the opportunity to book the room for another client, just as OP lost the opportunity to book another job. [/quote]
