She's been with us 4 weeks and it's happened twice one hour each time.  So really, at most, I only need about 2 more hours a week.

So, have you renegotiated your contact so soon after hiring a nanny. If so, did you do it for so little time? Part of me just wants to offer her cash every week for the overtime...but part of me wants to be clear about my time needs and although they are still in flux, it is obvious to me that we've made the contract for too few hours.  Maybe I should wait for my promotion to take full effect and then renegotiate.
