I know that short-term assignments and those involving SAH parents are not very popular, so I'm trying to sort out how much to pay per hour for this job. What other benefits should I offer? Where should I look for this person? I was thinking that a college student would be ideal. We are in NoVA.

Thanks for any help or advice! We had a nanny for our oldest when I WOH full-time, but that was over two years ago and in NYC, so I'm not sure what is market-standard in the DC-area these days.[/quote]
