I hate that when I come home my kids, including my infant, smell like they are covered in our nanny's perfume. Fair to ask her to dial it back?
As a nanny, I would never wear anything with a strong scent to work. Bring it up in a kind, respectful way. I would tell her that while you think she smells lovely, you are very sensitive to her particular perfume. Ask her to please stop wearing the scent to work. This actually happened to me with my MB. I switched fabric softener in the middle of her pregnancy. The new smell made her feel ill due to her heightened sense of smell. She acknowledge that she felt awkward and bad asking me. That made me feel better and I immediately agreed to switch scents. http://www.dcurbanmom.com/nanny-forum/posts/list/284973.page
