If they had four interviews lined up for this week they are STILL going to go through all of them before making a choice, even if OP/the first candidate was their dream nanny (especially if they're first-time parents). OP, if you haven't heard anything by Friday follow up with an e-mail but keep it low-pressure...Christmas is next week, after all, and folks are busy right now. If they desperately want to hire you, you don't want to turn them off by being too pushy.[/quote]
