Yes, professionals earn good wages and normal benefits. Look for a cleaner/cook who doesn't mind children to much.
How about college or grad students? We are willing to pay a decent hourly rate $15-25 per hour depending on credentials.
$25/hr is a decent rate. But highend nannies aren't trained in house cleaning. They can empty/fill a dishwasher, children's laundry, leaving the house as they found it. Most professional nannies are used to having a cleaning lady or crew. Most of my employers have had a fulltime cleaner/cook.
Most nannies aren't "trained" in general. It doesn't take much skills to clean a house. OP you can probably find someone willing to do it all without going over $20/hour. I know plenty of people who have housekeeper nannies and pay them under so theres no need to jump way up to $25/hr. Just put a feel out and I'm sure you'll find someone good.
