However, the best agencies don't work with every nanny OR family that applies, and as an in-demand nanny I trust them to do proper vetting of the families they send me to interview with. This might mean they ask to speak to former employees or it might just mean conducting multiple in-person meetings with them to ensure everyone is on the same page. I do not require a background check on people I work for, but I do require them to come through a trusted agency or via personal referral. [/quote]
