I agree with this.  I was in a 40K a year job that required a Bachelors degree.  I had 2 roommates and lived in a small apt.  I made it work but money was tight.  I worked there for 4 years and only received a raise the first year (and it was basically a $1 an hour raise).  For the next 3 years, no one received any raises.  It sucked and ultimately I had to find another job if I ever hoped to get out of debt.  [/quote]
