I get 8 weeks paid vacation , not as great as it sounds instead of getting paid 15 an hour I make 12.82 an hour to account for the 8 weeks I will be off "paid". The MB and db are divorced so said they each get 4 weeks so will take kids on there time off. The dad just went away for 5 days with a new girlfriend and the mom went away for 4 days with a friend (well dad had kids on a different vacation)

So due to them taking days off I don't think I will get full 8 weeks but will keep track and asked days not given be paid out .

I got to pick 7 days of the 8 weeks and used 3 this summer. Two happen to be this Thursday and Friday then my boss informed me she would be taking week after off to go visit family with kids . She told me over a month ago I would have next Monday - Friday off.

A week ago she asked if I could work that Friday , I told her I would get back to her I now have some plans scheduled . She asked again today and I let her know I could do 715-315 (normally work till 630) but that's all bc I have a rehearsal dinner to attend over an hour and half away via responding to her text. She respond Nevermind she found other arrangements but we would have to discuss how vacation time works in the morning. Am I wrong to have no changed plans to work a day she told me I had off over a month ago bc she changed her plans ?
