PP - Yes, those concerns have all crossed my mind.  I LOVE the idea of asking her if she'd be interested in doing a share with another child.  I think that would work well, if she would be up for it.  I have no plans on looking for someone else though!  The way I see it, I can either I figure out a way to work with her on this issue, or I just accept that the difference in her care giving style.  Our LO loves her, and I trust her.  This issue is not a deal breaker for me, and she is really great in every other regard.  [/quote]
