To make her feel welcome, I would put together a little welcome basket with a few items (toiletries, maybe a $10 gift card to local coffee shop and maybe handmade cards from your kids welcoming their new nanny). It will take time for both parties to get used to each other so my best advice is to go into this open minded and relaxed. Like a PP said, you are obviously doing something right if your last nanny was there for 8 years. [/quote]
