Hi OP, given your location the 25/30 range is probably too high. But $15/hr is too low for overnight - it's hard, and twins are nothing to sneeze at. (Mother of twins here.) Try $20/hr. If you were going to be doing it for some long period of time perhaps you'd negotiate a slightly lower rate (kind of the thing that nannies do when considering a 35 hr/wk job and a higher rate vs. a 50 hr/wk job at a slightly lower hourly rate.) Good luck! By the way, if the new mom is amenable, I would HIGHLY recommend keeping both babies on the same schedule. We always fed at the same time - and would wake a baby for a feeding if need be. Otherwise you end up doing round the clock feedings with no break - which is a killer, and not necessary unless there is a medical reason. Just an unsolicited veteran tip. :-)
Agree with this. I would ask for $20 an hour. Night nannies make more money than daytime and you will have twins, double the work. Don't sell yourself short just because you're in Georgia and don't have a ton of experience.
