I have no flexibility in vacation time as I work for a very small company (6 employees). I also don't get sick leave.  Seriously!  I work when I'm sick, either from home or the office.

Anyway, I know it sucks but it's a lot of PTO even if there's not a lot of choice. The other upside is that it's set so hypothetically nanny will know in advance when her summer holiday will be and can visit family over holidays or long weekends when a federal holiday abuts a weekend.  [/quote]
