They could probably find something else that pays the same rate you want to, but might offer more hours. The ones that are willing to take on the fewer hours with a lower pay rate might be more desperate for work, which makes you wonder WHY they might be more desperate compared to someone that would pass on your position and wait until they found something with more hours or higher pay (those ones probably can find something much easier and might be a better nanny overall).[/quote]
