It's time to drop the gym. You speak highly of the other two positions. Although the connections to extra babysitting gigs is nice you could do without the aggravation working at the gym brings. You could try one more time with your boss at the gym. Let her know that you are only available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and that you would like to get at least 12 hours (or whatever number makes the commute worth it for you) between the two days. If she isn't able to accommodate that reasonable request then you give her your notice next time you work. Your sanity is worth much more than the loss of income. It will be hard because you'll have to scale back until you can find a T/Th job, but in the end you'll be better off for putting an end to the burn-out. Good luck.
I agree....I've explained to my boss the situation several times and you but shes too worried about herself to pay my needs any mind. She could easily put me on for one or both Mornings and that's 5 hours each right there. But she insists on putting me in the evenings where there is less hours, more traffic, less money so she can do mornings herself. I'd be happy with at least one morning shift. I've also noticed her and my coworkers having jealously because I work other jobs. They figure I'm on a bankroll and don't need the money but I do. I make situations very clear but still nothing.
