I agree that $24 per hour is about the max that you can reasonably expect to earn in this scenario. Each family would still be paying less than what it would cost to hire its own nanny, and you would be making more than you could likely earn working for a single family. That said, I think you and the parents all need to sit down and talk about whether you can realistically provide quality care for four young kids, one of which will be an infant, without going nuts or getting burned out within days or weeks.
