Our cleaning people do not clean the basement - mainly because of the clutter it does not make sense. If au pair would like to help me get rid of the clutter (e.g. old kids toys/clothes) I would be happy to have the cleaning people clean the basement level too. So far, no au pair has been willing and as a result, we don't get the basement cleaned. I do it myself periodically. Now if au pair wants to pay the extra $10-$20 to get her bedroom/bathroom cleaned, i am sure that the cleaning people would be happy to take her money.[/quote]
