That's a pretty powerful statement, and oh so true.
With all our petty gripes and those of the MB's on this board, we should be proud that we are making a huge difference in our kids lives, ones that will effect them their whole lives. We are doing a super important job when all is said and done.

You know you're a nanny, when at the end of the work day you feel the pride and accomplishment of helping raising someone else's kids to be the best they can be. To know that you can sacrifice the appreciation and respect that doesn't come hand in hand in our field. To step back and be proud when the little ones accomplish something big and small, and be okay that you will not be credited and compensated fairly. That is not what a nanny is about. We do this for the love of children, and our hope to leave this world in a better place.

God bless our nannies. The wonderful women who take care of our most precious possessions. May we do all we can in our means to provide all the right tools to insure the people taking care of our LO's are happy and more than capable.
