It might not have anything to do with weekly/bi-weekly, but if you work hours in week 1, then on week 2 (whatever day is your payday) you get your check for week 1 hours. Some people get checks on Friday for the previous week. Some once they get direct deposit, it will go through on Wednesdays instead. This is very common. That is one reason why people hate starting new positions, because it can take up to 2-3 weeks to get your first paycheck, depending on if you are paid weekly or bi-weekly.[/quote]
