My impression is that the new money tends to put on airs and they try to act the way they think wealthy people do, but they almost always get it horribly wrong. The mom should have just STOPPED TALKING after asking you to make sure her son always says please and thank you. As a teenager, I dumped a boy because when I was at his house, he told the housekeeper, "Go make me a sandwich." [/quote]
