Dear Boss, After working for you for 4 years I have decided it is time for me to leave this position. I would like to provide you with a full explanation of my resignation. Although I have grown to love your 3 children (while completely raising the youngest from the time you gave birth), you really have some issues. I am saddened by the fact that you have never even acknowledged my birthday when you have been well aware. I have the children make things for you for mothers day/birthdays etc. and purchase things for the children with my own money. Not only do you throw these items away, you tell me that you do this. For Christmas I get you and your family gifts (not too expensive) but don’t even receive a card from you (obviously because I didn’t do this myself for you). I would really like to know why you are always “so busy” when I take care of your kids 45 hours a week AND walk your dogs, do your grocery shopping, laundry, dishes, Christmas/birthday shopping and wrapping, make your kids Easter baskets for you, get your car maintenanced etc. You don’t work. And I don’t feel bad when you complain to me about how you booked 2 massages in one day. Boo hoo. Switching me to salary then making me work many more hours a week without paying me extra was annoying. My tipping point may have been when I broke my leg while traveling with your family. I did not ask for your help with medical bills. You did not help make arrangements for me so I had to hobble around your house without my crutches and you acted annoyed with me. The biggest shocker was 3 weeks after my injury when you said to me “You really must be hurt, I’ve been watching you to catch you faking it but you’ve just kept limping.” EFFFF YOU! You are so selfish and lazy and don’t care about anyone other than yourself. I will dearly miss your sweet children and hope you can be excited to spend time with them someday instead of acting so depressed when I ask for a day off. Sincerely, Me
