I've tried in the past to pay MB back for the sick day, but everytime she's turned it down. I feel bad, I don't want to take her money for not working, when she has to take a day off from her job. I just don't feel right about it, but I don't know what else I should do.

I am paid for most holidays, and when their family takes vacations, I'm usually paid for part or all of the week. 
We have a very casual relationship, I consider them friends, and since I've been with them for so long, they're like family to me.

I just don't know what to do about the sick days...just let it go? Is that ok? I don't want them to feel taken advantage of, but I offer everytime, cash in hand to give it back to her, but she shoes it away. [/quote]
