Our fantastic nanny, Safi Diallo, will be looking to join a new family full-time around September 1 (40-50 hr/wk).
Safi has been with us since our son (who is now 4 y/o) was 4 months old. She’s incredibly responsible, loving, and adores young children. She’s very punctual and hasn’t been late in 4 years! When our son was little we had a nanny share and she would take both little ones to different playgrounds, the children’s museum, music class at the JCC, and the library. She easily became friends with other caregivers so the kiddos had a built-in playgroup every day. When the other child in the nanny share went to preschool full-time at age 2.5, Safi stayed on with us in a “nanny manager” role. She started driving our son to school for drop off in the morning. She has her own car and is a great driver. When he’s at preschool she helps us grocery shop, fold laundry, vacuum, go to the post office, drop off clothes at the dry cleaner, etc. Our son will be starting PreK4 full time at the end of August, which is why we’re helping Safi find a new family. She has been a calming presence in our home and we are going to miss her dearly! I’m happy to provide a reference as are other families she has worked for previously.
