We have been so fortunate to have our nanny, Candelaria, for over 3 years, and with the school year approaching we no longer need her help. We enthusiastically recommend her to a family who is looking for a reliable, caring, and dependable nanny (who drives). She has a warm and gentle presence as well as extensive child care experience--she has cared for kids of multiple ages and worked for several families prior to ours. We can speak to her ability to do so many things well--playing fun games and art projects, going on outings to the playground, driving for school drop-off and pick-up, the important process of potty-training, preparing meals, overseeing after school activities, every-day cleaning and organizing, etc. Most importantly, she is a kind, dedicated, and wonderful person. We want to do all we can to make sure she finds a great next family to work for.
Candelaria is a native Spanish speaker (and great teacher) and has lived in Maryland for over 30 years. She prefers to look for work in the Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Kensington, Potomac, or Silver Spring areas (but is open to other areas).
