Hello! We found our absolutely incredible nanny, Raquel, through the listserv and now that our son is starting daycare we are writing to wholeheartedly recommend her to other families. Raquel has been providing full-time childcare to our son since he was 11 weeks, and we’re so grateful for the excellent care she’s provided him.
Raquel has deep experience with infants and our son was immediately comfortable with her. She deftly navigated our son’s transition from being cared full time by us, and we know he is better prepared for daycare due to her expertise. She is excellent at ensuring that he is stimulated and engaged, and takes him on outings to parks, the library, etc. every day. Raquel makes sure to foster activities that encourage developmental growth, and we’ve watched our son absolutely thrive under her care. Her knowledge of infant and child development has also been an invaluable resource to us as we navigate transitions in areas such as sleep and feeding. Raquel is incredibly dependable, and is always early. We know our son is always safe with her, and never have to worry about his wellbeing when he’s not with us. Raquel has many years of experience providing childcare in both single family and nanny share arrangements throughout the DC area.
