Hi OP - Exciting to know that "professionals" agree with what it sounds like you already knew: that your charges are adorable and agreeable to be around.
One of my then-charges did a little bit of print work as a toddler and while he was also adorable and agreeable, the "work" days were pretty...unenjoyable. (He no longer works.) Prior to their first day of work, I would talk to MB about how she would like you to handle things if one/both babies are tired, hungry, or just done. Make sure you know if your role will be to actively advocate for your charges, placate them into performing, or await specific instructions from MB. Hope it goes well! |
OP, please ignore the trolls. They're miserable and coming on here to tell them you're excited isn't something they want to hear. They probably have (or had) kids who are snot pickers who will never be infront of the camera so they get all butt-hurt over hearing that the children you work for will be.
I personally don't care, I don't know you or the charges but I don't see any reason why people need to be mean or say sarcastic, snotty things. Jealous much? |
Baby twins in a tv show is not much of an actual acting experience. I don't see any actual achievement that they have managed. Even with modeling at an older age, you have to work at it. Their not going to be doing anything. Sounds like you just wanted to show off that you nanny for kids now "in the business". I can see being proud of a baby that starts to walk for the first time. Not for this though. Congrats on them being babies and looking good in the background? |
Again, with how much you keep reminding us about your nephew and how much you have been on set before, it really just seems like you are wanting to brag to everyone about this. While it's nice that they got the job, they aren't doing anything special at their age and I think you are going way overboard with things. You seem like you are trying to attach yourself to this industry and feel more important through your nephew and charges. Get over it, and please don't progress to name dropping. That would just be very sad to see. |
OP, on the east coast child modeling is seen as very trashy and generally something that only uneducated parents pursue for their kids. Its almost viewed as poorly as southern child beauty pageants. If you had written that the twin babies had just learned sign language or that the twin toddlers were reading and learning basic Mandarin then you would get applause from this area. |
