So western nannies ![]() I am from Southern California, the San Fernando Valley. I work for first time parents of identical 5 month old girls. I've been with the family for a little over two months. What about y'all (I say y'all ![]() |
I used to work for one family full time but am tired of putting my eggs in one basket so I do part time for multiple families. Some of them have just teamed up to do shares Wed-Fri. I'll have two kids on Wed and Thur and three every other Friday. I really like all of the families and kids so much more than I ever did any full time families. I do a rent exchange with another family who needs 30 hrs a month of child care and I have a studio in their basement. It works for me and I'm enjoying the work situation a lot. Part time moms are so much saner than the unhinged full time moms. |
I'm in San Diego and work full time with the best family! The kids are 7, 4, 2, and 5 months. I've also been with them for around 2 months. It's both the hardest and most rewarding nanny job I've had in my decade in the business. |
I'm in Denver currently looking for a job. Am a career nanny and pay is very low here ![]() |
I went to San Diego when my dad visited a few months back. We had a great time, he loved the seals |
I'm in Western Washington with one infant charge. Love my schedule, love my job, love the baby and his parents - so glad I moved out here! |
I am a career nanny in Colorado. I work for 2 families in a nanny-share during the week: a newborn (newest charge!) and a toddler whom I have cared for one year. I am also the part-time nanny of a pre-schooler and a toddler on the weekend and I have worked with that family for a little over two years. |
I'm in Wa state. Just got out of a live-in position with two young charges, now working part time at two daycares and loving it! |
