Live in nanny and going on vacation without a kid

Even if kids sleep through the night you need to pay a set rate. I saw this as a mom as well as a daughter whose own mom needs care. Both my mom and kids sleep through night but I pay any overnight caregiver 100 per night plus hourly rate during waking hours. It's expensive so that is why my DH and I seldom do overnights . But if you want nanny to care for kids and be responsible you need to pay them.

Do they wake at night? I would probably compromise and pay her hourly from the time she normally clocks off, until time theyre in bed. Then a babysitting rate until 10/11(as its probably more the fact she cant go out in the eves that's bothering her) and then hourly rate kicks in again once the kids have woken for the day

What about when the kids are sleeping? Or your friends could do it for free.
