Cleaning up after the kids messes is your job, that's not being a slave, you are paid to do it. |

Okay says a Mom Boss. I say cleaning up messes but c’mon… No hard physical labor intensive jobs like scrubbing a driveway. |
| How does this person tolerate driving on dirty roads and highways? Through *puddles* and *mud*? |
Then don’t use stuff that does not clean up well. |
With the family’s petty cash, fine. Nannies don’t provide supplies. |
OP said mom doesn’t allow it inside… |

This whole situation is nuts!
I have never seen Playdoh permanently stuck on someone’s car’s tires! I mean, come on - people run over all kinds of stuff on the road and in parking lots! |
Do you realize how insane you sound right now?? Are you seriously advising a nanny NOT TO use Playdoh on someone’s driveway????!! Would you prefer the nanny does not actively engage with her charges? |
+1 Cars run over all kinds of stuff on a daily basis. Someone could have left Play-doh in a parking lot and anyone of us can drive across it when we park into a space. |

Your Nanny Family sounds exhausting!
They will ALWAYS find something to complain about. I personally cannot work for families like this one. They are never satisfied. |

^ Amen. ^
Getting upset because the nanny let the kids play with Playdoh on the driveway???? My sister runs an inhome daycare outside of her house and when the weather is warm out, one of the outdoor activities is playing with Playdoh, slime and colored chalk on the driveway and patio which are both made of concrete. |
| You are nothing more than a servant to your employers. Find another position with people who treat you respectfully. The father is a jerk. |
| Simple answer to your simple question, no it was definitely not fair. |
