Seeking family for nanny share in Reston

Hello! We are looking for a new family to join our nanny share in South Reston beginning in September. We have a great nanny who has been watching our daughter and another 3 year old who is starting full day preschool this fall. We are the host family, but happy to discuss splitting hosting or other arrangements.

Part time or full time: Part time (30 hours)

Days: Monday-Friday

Hours: 30 hours a week guaranteed, M-F 8:30am to 2:30pm (flexible on start/end time).

Location: Reston (south of toll road)

Number of kids: 1 (open to __ additional kids)

Age: 3

Rate: $30/hour for 2 kids (each family pays $15 per hour) for core 30 hours. Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate. Additional hours available on ad hoc basis paid $20 per hour. 30 hours paid vacation time and 24 hours paid sick time with an additional 8 hours unpaid sick time. Paid via Poppins Payroll

About our nanny:
Our nanny is a non smoker, English and Spanish speaker, CPR certified. She was a Montessori teaching assistant before working with us. She has a car and drives the kids to activities in the community such as story time, Frying Pan Farm, and Reston Community Center’s Big Fun for Little Ones. She speaks Spanish with the kids, reads to them, and does crafts and similar activities with them at our house. She also prepares lunch for the kids and drives the older kid to afternoon preschool before putting our daughter down for a nap. She has connected with other nannies and moms in our neighborhood and formed playgroups with them. She is calm, reliable, warm-hearted, and very patient with the kids.

About us:
We live in a townhouse. One parent is generally working from home each day (except Wednesdays) but the kids have the living area during the day and we work at our desks. Our neighborhood has several playgrounds within walking distance.
