Wonderful Nanny becoming available late August 2025

Our wonderful nanny Safi Diallo will be looking to join a new family full-time in late August 2025. She’s been with us since our son (who just turned 4 y/o) was 4 months old. She’s incredibly responsible and she adores young children. She hasn’t been late in 4 years! When our son was little she would take him to different playgrounds, the children’s museum, and the library. As he got older and started preschool she drove him to school for drop off in the morning. She has her own car and she’s a very good driver. When our son is at preschool she helps us grocery shop, fold laundry, vacuum, etc.

Our son will be starting PreK4 at the end of August and we just won’t have quite enough for her to do, which is the reason we’re helping her find a new family. She has been a calming presence in our home and we are going to miss her dearly! I’m happy to provide a reference - just email me.

Safi speaks English, French, and Bambara (primary language spoken Mali). She’s a U.S. citizen and has lived in this area for ~25 years. She is familiar with the Capitol Hill, Logan Circle/Shaw, and Woodley/Cleveland Park neighborhoods.
