Job interview

I mostly took care of new borns and toddlers. I am going to have an interview with someone who is 8 years old boy .
Can someone help me ? How to engage with him and what kind of interest he might have.

Nanny here, this is a perfect age because they’re very active with so many questions about everything going on around them. Take him to the Air and Space Museum, or Natural History Museum is another great one. My advice is to listen to him ask what his interests are and plan activities around that. No screen time if he’s not at school, kids appreciate structure even though they pretend not to. It’s not as hard as it sounds older kids are actually a ball of fun. Hang in there!

This boggles my mind. Either you know how to interact with elementary-age children or you need to spend some (unpaid) time doing so.
