This Friday I want ti quit, but I’m pretty nervous to do it as they’re not very nice people and there’s a new baby coming.
Cutting hours, misrepresented the job in the interview, made me wait 6 weeks to start the job (I never agreed to that and was expecting the job to start in 2 weeks like we said). Dad walks around non stop checking on us, making annoying comments, complaining a lot, his mom stayed for months and now is back again to help With the new baby (she babysits me). Absolutely can’t do it anymore I thought this was good timing as both grandmas and an uncle are here to help and I was going to take vacation anyways and Christmas coming. My new job starts January 2nd. Only problem I have now is that they just told me yesterday that mom and her mom will be staying with the baby in a different apartment 1h from where I’m supposed to be with the kids and the uncle and other grandma. Are they kidding me?!?!!!?!? |
Not trying to be snarky OP, but I find your post a little hard to follow.
But the overall gist of it is that you are definitely unhappy w/the way things are now going so I think it is best for you if you quit this position now. Everything is just very chaotic right now - perhaps even more so w/the holidays around the corner. Good luck! |
Get the money they owe you and bye bye.
They never respected you. Good luck! |
Sorry you’re going through this but you already have a new position lined up so all you need to do is telling them straight up that you’re giving them formal notice and move on. Nothing else, nothing less. Good Luck, you got this! |
Get paid and put in your notice |
Normalize quitting when being mistreated or unhappy in any work environment. Life is short why waste it stressing over a family that doesn’t value you. Move on! |
Send them a text after you cash your paycheck. |
