Hello all,

Wondering the going nanny rate for 1 child (3months) in the Eastern market area? Returning to work soon and looking for part time help from 8am-12pm M-F. Also, if you know of anyone great, few free to write back here and I’d love to share my contact info!

My name is Ablavi. I have been taking care of babies for more than 20 years. I do everything from feeding, changing, napping, walks, reading (French & English), activities, and getting them ready for bed (depending on the time of the schedule ). l adore all children.

I would say a good starting rate would be $20-22/HR.

That is assuming only childcare duties.

I would add a few dollars more per hr if light housekeeping duties are required.

Maybe 10+ years ago. I made $20/hr in 2011.

Starting rate is $25hr but for a seasoned nanny you’re looking at $28+ especially for pt

We hired a PT nanny, she’s a college student at AU her rate is $30 hourly. If we need her weekends we pay her $35 since she usually accommodate us with short notice.

We recently hired for a similar position. The applicants we interviewed requested $22-30/hour. We factored in experience, availability, and driving skills when considering the rate.
