I would say a good starting rate would be $20-22/HR.
That is assuming only childcare duties. I would add a few dollars more per hr if light housekeeping duties are required. Hope this helps. ![]() |

Starting rate is $25hr but for a seasoned nanny you’re looking at $28+ especially for pt |

We hired a PT nanny, she’s a college student at AU her rate is $30 hourly. If we need her weekends we pay her $35 since she usually accommodate us with short notice. |
We recently hired for a similar position. The applicants we interviewed requested $22-30/hour. We factored in experience, availability, and driving skills when considering the rate. |
