Recommendations: spectacular Nanny with 20+ years !!!!!!!!!

Belinda, our former nanny of 7+ years, is looking for a new position now that our three school-aged children are no longer in need of full-time care. I can't recommend her highly enough—she was with our family through thick and thin. She was with us for the transition from one kid to two, and then from two to three, and she handled the ups and downs of our chaotic life with grace, aplomb, and humor.

We trusted her completely with our three sons at all stages, from infancy to elementary school. She helped us manage schedules with pick ups and drop offs, took care of all household tasks related to the kids (meals, laundry, light cleaning, grocery runs), and generally helped keep the trains running. As our sons got older, she also made sure they were participating in household chores, learning to do things like tidying up after themselves and helping with the dishes. (We are VERY thankful that they began learning those things at a young age and have grown into self-sufficient, capable kiddos!) She always kept the boys active and busy, with trips to parks, the library, and playdates. She was also very involved in their education, helping them learn to read and write.

She is incredibly reliable and flexible, which was a huge help with our busy schedules. She had her own transportation and was always on time. She was also quick to adapt to new schedules and routines, and is definitely a self-starter; if she saw something that needed changing or fixing, she didn't wait for instruction or management—she just fixed it. She definitely helped carry the mental load in our household!
